What Is Music CD Mastering?
Mastering is when an audio enginneer takes a studio mix and
sonically "tweaks" it for pressing into Audio CDs. This process using high end equipment improves
the sound and loudness of a mix. Mastering is what makes the difference between your album sounding
like a demo or a major label release.
ALL commercial CDs go through this important process! Mastering is a required
final step before having your CD manufactured or offering digital downloads. If you want a pro sounding CD you need
mastering! We work your project using high end analog or digital audio equipment which will give your music the quality
sound it deserves!
Many people ask us: "Can we give you a Major Label Sound?" Well that
depends:
- Was it recorded and mixed high quality?
A poor recording will most likely result in a poor sounding master. A quality-done recording will result in a great sounding
