About Us:
Welcome!
We are a small CD duplication and audio mastering facility in Birmingham, owned and operated by musicians! We also run a project recording studio and do music mastering and graphics work.
Searching For The Truth
Frustration is also what led to the developement of our duplication services. We were tired of having no choice but to purchase 500-1000 replicated CD's at a time. And having to get films made, special illustration programs for the layout, etc. After all, when you pay to have a CD made there's no guarantee that it will sell, right? It's no fun to end up stuck with 100's of CD's that you can't sell!
We saw The Light!
We searched for companies that offer smaller quantites but were never very happy with the results. For that reason we decided to just go into the short run CD business ourselves! Today we do lots of business locally and internet customers will probably soon pass the amount of our local business. As musicians ourselves, we know what you want; a CD that not only sounds good but also looks good!
My Mojo Pro Pressing -vs - Duplication
Should you have your CD pro-pressed (replicated) or duplicated? Well that is up to you and what your plans are!
Do you think you are going to easily sell 1000 more more CDs? Then go for it baby! get your music replicated somewhere!
Are you not so sure? Well then play it safe and get a small quantity of your CDs made. You may pay a tiny bit more for duplicated CDs but you can buy as few as 100 CDs this way... and the risk is almost non-existent!
Musicians wanting to sell online at places like cdbaby, amazon, cdnow, etc., will do best by purchasing small quantities of CDs. First of all the expense is small, and if the CDs are not selling, you don't get stuck with another 500 or so that will sit and collect dust.
Experience
We have over 17 years of audio experience. CD mastering, mixing, and engineering. We use the very best equipment in mastering, a combination of high end analog and digital equipment. Many of our cutomers say that our mastering is better than other services they've used costing $400.00 or more!
Bottom Line!
Our deal is this, we are musicians and just like you, we want our CDs to look and sound professional. The CDs we make here do look professional. Do they look exactly like pressed screenprinted CDs? No, first of all the discs are printed on a 'very' high quality thermal printer. It's capable of black text and a small graphic logo on a silver CD. many PRO CD's are done with black text only they are screenprinted. The difference in look is nada! We make a good product and we are proud of it! If you need a small amount of CDs, and quality mastering, we are here for you!
